Murray Robertson has recently publicly challenged Jamie Parker, the mayor of Leichhardt Council to change the sign asking Kevin Rudd to keep Callan Park Mental Hospital for the people. Murray believes that Julia’s name should be on the sign. The Mayor has taken up the challenge and agreed to have it up to date by 9 November at the latest.
Murray feels that mad people (of whom he is one) should be embraced by society and sees Theatre Sports as a valuable form of therapy (al;though we’re not sure that it’s started working yet).
He is a member of Milk Crate Theatre, has several children who play hand bells like angels and was trained in Drama in South Africa over 30 years ago. He is brillinat at Maths but spells badly and forgets people’s names.
Murray doesn’t try to be funny, claiming the accident of being created autistic as its cause. He feels close to Spike Milligan, John Cleese and God (on alternate weekends).
Murray’s totem is the dingo, he suffers from synaesthesia and teaches maths to brain-dead kids successfully.
