Fabiola Meza was born in Lima, Peru and when almost 12 years old immigrated to Sydney, Australia with her parents and sisters. She is a graduate of Sydney University with a BA (Honours in Education). Fabiola has an aptitude for languages and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
She has travelled extensively, in Australia as well as in South-East Asia and North, Central and South America.
Fabiola combines her nurturing nature and love of caring for children with an off-beat sense of humour. Her keen sense of social justice has resulted in extensive involvement in political activism.
Fabiola has a passion for theatre, especially Shakespeare, which has led her to performances at Belvoir St Theatre (Upstairs) in the roles of both Hamlet and Ophelia as well as that of Bottom. Another memorable role was as a very pregnant Virgin Mary. Fabiola is a dedicated member of Milk Crate Theatre and has also devised and performed works exploring sensitive issues in her own life.
